Vespa scooters is known all over world. I presume people know. Check. During the Molito Street Fair Oktoberfest 2019, just about a week ago, a number of people dropped by to our tent-booth, including a handsome young man who approached me as I was standing beside one of our units and whispered to my ears, “[I do not know about scooters, but my friends have Vespa scooters…]”. “Yes, sir!” I said. Vespa is premium scooters, a good investment and it builds up community. So while it is true that people worldwide know this amazing vehicles, not everyone one actually knows it and so there is the need to keep introducing Vespa scooters to others, and to help them know more about it, for their appreciation. Then an expat and father of seven lovely kids, also came and asked me, “What makes it different from other scooters?”. Oh my?! I am not really sure what best to tell him to aid his decision either to invest on one, or more – one each for his seven beautiful children – or on something else greater. “I am getting seven units, one for each of them,” he said, “if you give me 50% discount”. “Done,” I said, “you get 50% discount of our free Vespa T-shirt”. The guy gave me a big grin and went his way. His wife, after looking around with a wide smile, signed her name on our clients list. Their seven beautiful children, also looked around, and went with their parents. Then also came a lady in a nice yellow terno who may have a good answer to the question, “I have long been dreaming of having one of these,” she said. “[Let me just get over my wedding. Get in touch with me, I gave you my real cell phone number],” she added. Wow! Thank you! But, wait! We should have asked her what made Vespa Scooter her dream. We were lost in the picture-taking and talks about which color is best for her – yellow, white, red or black? Anyway, maybe the guy who owns 3 Vespa scooters, and just recently bought the latest edition of the Vespa 300cc, has the best answer. He must be making it his collection. “Vespa Scooter is addicting,” he said. And at the back of my mind I was saying, “You may get your next unit of your classy scooter collection from Vespa Imus Cavite. We are just along Aguinaldo Highway, Brgy Palico-1, Imus, Cavite. We are near the LTO. Google the location of Danocars Trading/Vespa Imus Cavite. You will find it”. He gets it, I know. Did he say, “addicting”? And why is that? Well, I did not ask the gentleman though. Then there is one more guy who came looking at the Vespa scooters on the ground. I talked with him and he asked me if there is financing for the units. “Yes we have scooter loan program and we also accept credit cards payment,” Further, I told him about our flexibility that we accept trade-in/swapping of any brand and model of old cars. “Actually, I want to pay in cash, he said, “Oh, that is nice,” I uttered to my self. And he also shared with me, “[I am selling my other scooter, another brand, latest model, but I don’t like it]”. And I can only wonder why, but did not ask him about it.
So, what makes Vespa Scooter different from its kind? Technically, there are a number of answers to this question, but it seems to me the best persons to answer this great question are the ones who have been owners and riders of Vespa Scooters. As they say, “you won’t know until you ride one”.

T’was a Vespa dream that came true for Mr. John Gonzales, owner of a new WHITE VESPA S CARBON – Limited Edition. Strolling his scooter for the first time immediately after delivery caught on tape him saying “Very nice, napakasarap pala e- maneho nito.”
To him, owning a VESPA Scooter was as if owning a Ferrari to some. The scooter was his long-time dream to own – known to him as his “Vespa Dream”. ‘Who would ever imagine Vespa would come to the Philippines, and a nearby dealer would set up here in my town”, he added.
The 2019 Vespa S125 Carbon Edition is decked out with the Italian Tricolore and carbon-look trim Rolling on 11-inch wheels and powered by a single-cylinder 125 cc i-Get mill fed by EFI. Check out our scooter at Vespa Imus Cavite (Danocars Trading).
Vespa Designer was an Italian aeronautical engineer named General Corradino D’Ascanio. He credited and responsible for this revolutionary vehicle. Corradino was a radical free spirit who had built his own glider at 15 and designed Italy’s first helicopter. Unfortunately, however, he didn’t like conventional motorcycles, considering them bulky and dirty, so set about making a two-wheeler that was different. He moved the gears to the handlebars, made it a ‘step-thru’ with leg shields and footboards so that women could ride it in skirts and hid the engine away to keep the riders and their clothes clean. The Vespa designer ‘s hate for motorcycles led to becoming one of the most one of the best-selling powered two-wheelers of all time with over 18 million examples sold.
Some of its success was accelerated through active promotion in a series of popular movies with stars like Anita Ekberg, Audrey Hepburn, Charlton Heston, and Stephen Boyd.
According to Wikipedia, the main stimulus for the Vespa design style of the proposed Lambretta dated back to Pre-WWII Cushman scooters made in Nebraska, USA. These olive green scooters were in Italy in large numbers, ordered originally by the US Government as field transport for the Paratroops and Marines. The US military had used them to get around Nazi defense tactics, destroying roads and bridges during the Battle of Monte Cassino and in the Dolomites and the Austrian border areas.

You can get a brand new Vespa S for as low as 99 pesos a day. The new Vespa S are ultra-modern single cylinder 4-stroke 125 cc air-cooled engines with electronic injection and 3-valve timing. Each and every detail, from the exhaust to the internal design of the gearbox cover, has been designed to make the ride smoother, quieter and more comfortable.
The injection system has been optimized and improved in terms of efficiency. This means that the power and torque output reach new and high levels of regularity and reliability, even in the city with constant “stop and go” riding.
These engines are extremely environmentally friendly since they are approved in compliance with the Euro 3 Multi-Directive, and they are capable of performance which is at the top of the category: the i-get 125 cc has maximum power and torque that measure in respectively at 7.6 kW at 7,600 rpm and 10.2 Nm at 6,000 revolutions per minute.
Did you know that the name Vespa (Italian pronunciation: [ˈvɛspa]) means wasp in Italian? This Vespa brand has evolved from a single model motor scooter manufactured in 1946 by Piaggio & Co. S.p.A. of Pontedera, Italy to become one of the most loved scooters world-wide and one of seven companies today owned by Piaggio.
“Not for everyone,” the new product slogan used by Italian scooter maker Vespa opens a new authorised dealership in Imus, Cavite. Danocars Trading, a pre-owned automobile sales business with decades of experienced in automobiles was granted dealership in mid September of this year. To differentiate automobile sale from this new dealership, the company took on the name “VESPA IMUS CAVITE” for Vespa sales and service. They plan to hold a soft opening immediately this September and will come full swing in time for the Christmas season.
Vespa S – an incredible and stylish scooter
Vespa’s entry level, the Vespa S 125 is powered by a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, three-valve engine that spews a modest 10.2hp @ 7,600rpm. This Italian beauty promises a quiet, exhilarating ‘twist-n-go’ ride using the noise-free, seamless-shifting CVT providing an aggressive acceleration and sharp cornering characteristics. The new Vespa S 125 also comes with ABS as standard equipment.
A new feature of the Vespa S is the i-Get (Italian Green Environment Technology) that makes its powerplant Euro 3 emission compliant. An improved fuel injection system adds more kilometers to every drop of gasoline consumed by the Vespa S. Known worldwide for its comfortable ride, the Vespa S boasts of wide, stylish seats that stands 30.9in from the ground, an inch higher than the hot-selling Yamaha Mio 125cc.
Always priced higher than the rest, there is this perception that Vespa was crafted for the elite and only for the elite. But life, they say, is always full of contradictions. The Vespa S 125 comes in a range of dynamic colors: Verde Matt, Grigio Titanio, and Rosso Matt.
